amidst olive-groves, cypress trees and vineyards. The estate totals around 80 hectares, 40 hectaresof which are covered by vineyards, with the remainder devoted to olive-groves. The estate has a very illustrious past. In Medicean times it belonged to the noble Ricci family which was also responsible for organizing the estate’s early farming and winemaking activities. The goal of the present owners, the Guarnieri family, has been to maximize the use of the land.
